KidControl GPS phone tracker turns your kid's phone into a tool for monitoring the phone, controlling location and safety. It is Find my Android and Find My Phone services in one app. More simple than life360. Perhaps, it can even help to improve your relationship with your kids :)

Receive automated alerts when you child arrives at school and returns home. To do so, create Places (geo fences), for example School and Home. When your kid enters or leaves them, your phone will receive a notification.

When phone battery level goes below 15%, KidControl GPS tracker sends a notification about this phone. You'll be able to remind your child to charge the phone.

In the Battery and Internet report you can how often the child charges the phone, how quickly it drains, at what time the phone is unplugged. Based on this data, you can assume when the child goes to bed and gets up. This report also shows stability of Internet signal for the last two days.

To provide precise coordinates, the phone must have Geolocation service enabled. It is managed in Android > Settings > My Location. Enabled Wi-Fi increases accuracy to 30-100 feet and works indoors. GPS location has 30-150 feet accuracy only outdoors.

When GPS tracking and Wi-Fi location are turned off or not available, KidControl family locator determines phone's location by LBS coordinates of GSM towers with 300-5000 feet accuracy. Such locations we mark on the map with the LBS icon. To provide LBS data, the phone still needs Internet connection.

Some parents are worried that the kid can delete the app. Based on our experience, it is better to explain the child why KidControl family tracker is needed and give him/her the ability to see when parents return home. You'll be surprised to see how clean your house is every time you are back :)
