Spark Pro is a $2.99/mo or $29.99 USD/year subscription that provides access to tools that give you even more editing control such as our beautiful pro filters, an ever-growing music library and voice over, stabilization, transitions and more, updated monthly. Subscription auto-renews at the end of each term (month or year depending on subscription), unless cancelled 24-hours in advance. The subscription fee is charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active period. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. I really like this app but I had to delete it cause it took up like 6.2GB of my memory so all those awesome vids GONE! I think you should make it like 1.0GB not 6.2GB when you only use it to film cool things so please fix it because I want this app back but not with 6.2GB also because of the storage usage I have lost amazing videos when I was on holiday?!
I hope you fix this app soon😘
Handy but not quite as good as hoped
I’ve tried this out recently on the recommendation of a really good marketer.
It’s partly delivered on the promise of being able to record only when you have something to say and then stopping when you take your thumb off the button.
It’s got a pretty interface which is nice but not critical.
What I am less impressed with
- editing clips is easy but not highly practical. Seems there is no way to pause a clip while editing
- you have to subscribe to paid version to be able by I export over 60 seconds
So if you want to do something super simple or love it enough to pay maybe it’s worth it.
For simple videos shot on my iPhone I’m probably going back to iMovie. A little bit more cumbersome to assemble the clips but better editing and it’s free with my phone.

Amazing app but you lose your purchases if you do a fresh install
This is by far the best iOS app I have used. It’s amazing. It’s perfect.
Long time users like me are grand fathered into the free tier. I did buy many upgrades. But now they’ve gone down the subscription route.
The new free version is very restrictive — you cannot use slow motion playback.
If you have bought upgrades in the past then I strongly advise you to backup all app data. If not, you’ll have to subscribe to Spark Pro for basic functionality.
